December graduates also need recognition! I am so glad that I was able to do Kayla’s!! I am loving this fall senior session at Radford University. This is my first time doing a fall graduation session, and I think I would do more in the future 😉 I know one of Kayla’s friends at Roanoke College and I am glad she connected us!!
If I were to describe Jordan and Krystal’s wedding day in three words it would be, spiritual, passionate, and heartwarming. From the moment I arrived at Green Springs Plantation, I felt welcomed. Krystal’s mom immediately came out of her way and introduced herself! Both Jordan and Krystal’s family were heavily involved in the wedding which I thought it even more special. Krystal’s dad BUILT the cross arbor for their ceremony. I saw that everyone was eager to be a part of their wedding and it was heartwarming to see how much love there was within both of their families.
Picking a wedding photographer can be tough. When looking at different packages, there will be some questions you may have. Do I need a second photographer at my wedding? Is it worth paying extra money for a second photographer? I am going to walk you through one of my wedding’s where having a second photographer made a MAJOR difference in the images that I delivered to my client’s.
This blog post will answer your questions regarding if having a second photographer included in your photography package NECESSARY.
If you ever have the chance to go to the Beaver Dam Sunflower Festival, I HIGHLY recommend. There are local vendors, FOOD, and SUNFLOWERS (shocker). My friends and I ventured to the festival today. It was a great little adventure! We ate snow cones and kettle corn and took LOTS of pictures.
Before the Class of 2020 sessions start, I wanted to do a blog post with my favorite pictures from graduation sessiosn with the Class of 2019. Last spring I photographed 45 AMAZING seniors, truly amazing. It was a crazy busy season and I loved every second of it. I got to meet a ton of new people. Each and everyone one of them have a great path ahead of them. I can’t wait to see where everyone ends up!
When planning for their engagement session, Brittany had it all planned out perfectly! She wanted to do it somewhere special for them that meant out in the mountains (YAY)!!! Nathan proposed to Brittany while on a hike in front of a beautiful waterfall! I was ecstatic when she mentioned doing this little hike to the top of a mountain with a 360-degree view of mountains… Oh. My. I’ve always wanted to do an engagement session in the middle of the Blue Ridge mountains! The Blue Ridge Mountains were showing off for their engagement photos. You will see what I mean… it was BREATHTAKING.
I am trying to think how long I’ve known Caitlyn for. It has been at least ten years which is crazy to think about! I was so excited to take her senior portraits at Boar’s Head Inn. I remember when we were on a swim team together and I used to coach her and her younger sister. It doesn’t seem that long ago and I can’t believe now she’s going to graduate high school!!!
I am excited to share with you some of Utah’s beauty!! This was one of my favorite vacations to date. I spent the week with my family exploring different National Parks and State Parks. One week later and my body is still exhausted from all of the hiking we did. We traveled to Mirror Lake, Snowbird, Bryce, and Zion which made for a full five days of adventure. The images speak for themselves!
I couldn’t tell if I was at a European castle or in Richmond, Virginia. The wedding at Virginia House was gorgeous! From the gorgeous venue to the elegant design, Ginger and Daniel’s wedding was stunning. Ever since their engagement session, I’ve been so excited to for this day to see them again! The humidity did not stop anyone from having an amazing time.
